Because of its proximity to the hotel, characteristics and services, it’s also an ideal beach for kids and for practicing water sports.

Playa de El Médano - El Médano Beach

It’s an immense golden sand beach with clear, shallow water which makes it ideal for families. The beaches in the municipality of El Médano are famous for being the largest on the entire island of Tenerife. This one, specifically, is the “summum” for friends who want to practice surfing, kite surfing or windsurfing.

Located to the north in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it’s an artificial beach with sand brought in from the Sahara. We call it “the capital beach” as it’s a precious golden sand beach with “chiringuitos”, shops and a very good family atmosphere. It’s one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island because of its beauty as well as the constant activities that take place there.
Recommended if you have a rental car to get there.

Also on South Tenerife and located next to Fañabe Beach, Duque Beach is a precious beach which is ideal for photography fans where you can take unique photos of your Tenerife holidays with its precious environment and crystal clear waters. Torviscas and Fañabé Beach

This beach is a little further from Mare Nostrum Resort, but it’s within the Adeje Coast area. You'll have to take a car, taxi or bus. It’s a magnificent black sand beach where you can take photos and enjoy as a couple. You can combine a day at the beach with a walk around the many shops and restaurants. We recommend having a drink at the various "chiringuitos".
